Bronwyn is the co-author of the Building Confidence Report and reflects her reputation as a legal advisor on building regulations for more than 20 years. Bronwyn has been advising the NSW and WA governments on their implementation of the Building Confidence Report and she is also part of the Expert Advisory Group appointed to advise the ABCB on its work to develop a national framework for the implementation of the report.

Turlough is Program Leader for the NSW Government’s Low Emissions Building Materials Program which was established under the Net Zero Plan Stage 1: 2020-2030. Prior to working for government, Turlough’s experience has been in telecommunications, energy and resource construction.

Imke has a track-record of more than 8 years experience in operations transformations and a particular focus on process industries (e.g. chemicals, building materials, metals). She joined McKinsey in 2008 and lead McKinsey's Building materials practice in Europe. She serves clients in building materials and related process industries on strategic topics and large transformations.
​YVONNE PENGILLY - QBCC Assistant Commissioner Technical

Yvonne is a licensed open builder. Her career began in subcontract brick and blockwork before moving into management and leadership roles overseeing construction of high-end resort and multi-storey apartment developments. She has worked in all facets of the industry including trade contracting, contract administration, project management, design and development management. Yvonne is a member of the Board of Professional Engineers Queensland as the building and construction industry representative, appointed in July 2016 and is also the current Assistant Commissioner Technical for the Queensland Building and Construction Commission.

Shane studied economics and maths at University College Cork before beginning his career as economist at the Economic & Social Research Institute in Dublin. He regularly offers his housing market analysis at events across Australia and he spearheads the production of Master Builders Australia’s keynote industry forecasts.
